I'm a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota's M.S. Robotics program! After completing my undergrad in mechanical engineering, I was fortunate enought to gain experience as a test engineer with a major off-road powersports drivetrain supplier in far northern Minnesota. Although I long suspected it, here was where I found my passion in automation, robotics, and programming. 

Entering grad school, my technical interests were on the control systems side, but I fell in love with computer vision and have since stayed the course. 

In my personal time, I took up cooking as a Covid hobby and enjoy (very) amateur photography as a creative outlet. As for outdoor activities, a personal favorite is spending time canoeing Minnesota's Boundary Waters Wilderness, but Winter ice fishing is a close second.
